YO!

been a while...and right now i am beat and way to damn tired to write anything that great haha.

All i can say is that life with my dad is nuts. Living with a newly married couple is HARD.

How bout you guys? Anything you got going that's kinda rant worthy?
Now I bet a lot of people are writing about this, but hey I'll give it a shot too. So now we are on full blown level 6 pandemic alert for swine flu, and WHO is still trying to keep people calm and traveling (haha). I was reading this on CNN:

The number of swine flu cases is closer to reaching 30,000, the World Health Organization reported Friday, a day after declaring the start of a global pandemic.

As of Friday, 29,669 cases of the H1N1 virus have been reported in 74 countries, the WHO said. The total number of deaths worldwide has reached 145.

The latest figures come a day after the WHO said the virus was "unstoppable" and had become widespread enough to raise the global swine flu alert to its highest level.

The U.S. and Mexico, where the earliest cases of the outbreak occurred, remain the countries with the highest number of swine flu cases.

There have been 13,217 reported cases in the U.S. and 6,241 in Mexico.

The WHO has been updating the number of global flu virus cases on a nearly daily basis since the outbreak emerged in late April.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is due to provide its weekly update of cases on Friday. A total of 27 deaths have been reported in the U.S.

Outside of the U.S. and Mexico, countries hit hard by the virus include Canada (2,978 cases); Chile (1,694 cases) and Australia (1,307 cases).

Japan Lights

Have you ever been to japan?  The lights at night are amazing.  When I first went there I arrived at night, and all the city lights and the lights in Tokyo Tower were on.  It's such a sight to behold.  You can't imagine, it's such a different world there.

I Call This the Heebie Jeebies

I am so excited right now I can't think!  But at the same time I feel bad, because what I am excited about, some of my friends can't come with me.  But I still really wanna go and am very excited, I just don't know what I'll say when I see them again, and they give me that crushed look because they couldn't come...I call this the heebie jeebies, because I am happy and excited but also feel weird hehe.

Writer's Block: All About My Mother

Who is your favorite mother (the character, not the actress) from television or the movies?
Lorelai Gilmore

Jaded

Man...I hope that I find some nice friends who like to share stuff!  A lot of the people I've been meeting are so jaded, so I don't really know what to think...that's life though i guess

Hello!!!

Hey everyone!

I'm Iris, and I love japanese and martial arts, especially Karma Kula Mystic Warrior.  It's an awesome independently created martial arts show you watch online, and the action/adventure is done really well.  Especially in the third episode, where Rena Owen does her part perfectly.  It keeps getting better and better.  You can check out Karma Kula at these sites:

So I also love food, cooking, movies, tv, and japanese.  I went to Japan before but it wasn't for very long unfortunately, and I hope to go there soon and visit my friends.  It's such a different place, and when you go there it's like a different world!  Hopefully you go one day :).

So long for now!  Feel free to be my friend
